How to Play

The first minute is about soul farming and scouting. Play Skeleton Army or Bats on defense and keep Skeleton King nearby to absorb souls from dying units. Do not use his ability until you are ready to commit to a push, since wasted souls mean wasted damage potential. Inferno Dragon handles enemy tanks on defense, melting Golems, Giants, and P.E.K.K.As while you preserve your own troops for counter-pushes. Giant Skeleton is your defensive anchor against ground pushes. Drop him into oncoming troops, let him absorb damage, and when he dies, his bomb clears everything. If Giant Skeleton survives a defensive exchange with decent health, support him with Balloon on the same lane for a dual-threat push that demands two separate answers. The primary offensive sequence is Skeleton King at the bridge, activate his ability to summon skeletons, then drop Balloon behind him. The opponent must deal with a swarm of skeletons on the ground and a Balloon in the air simultaneously. Freeze when the Balloon reaches tower range locks down whatever the opponent deploys, and the combined damage from skeletons plus Balloon bomb is usually lethal. Bats support your pushes by adding cheap DPS and baiting out small spells. If your opponent wastes their Zap or Snowball on Bats, your Skeleton Army becomes much harder to deal with on the next push. Arrows clear Minions and other air swarms that threaten Balloon. In double elixir, you can cycle back to Skeleton King plus Balloon faster than most opponents can prepare for.

Card Roles

Skeleton King serves as your ground win condition, absorbing souls throughout the match and unleashing them in devastating bursts that overwhelm defensive troops. Balloon is your air win condition, dealing massive bomb damage when it reaches the tower. Paired with Freeze, it becomes nearly unstoppable. Freeze locks down defensive units and towers at the critical moment, ensuring your Balloon connects and your skeletons chip freely. Giant Skeleton provides defensive power through his death bomb and a secondary lane threat on offense. Inferno Dragon melts any tank in the game, giving you a reliable answer to heavy beatdown pushes.

Strengths

Dual win condition approach through air and ground makes it extremely hard to defend both simultaneously. Skeleton King soul mechanic creates free value from every defensive exchange. Freeze plus Balloon is one of the highest burst damage combos in the game. Giant Skeleton death bomb punishes aggressive opponents who overcommit at the bridge.

Weaknesses

Poison hard-counters your Skeleton King summons and Skeleton Army, removing your ground pressure entirely. Decks with multiple anti-air options like Musketeer plus Tornado shut down Balloon consistently. The deck lacks a traditional spell-resistant tank, making it vulnerable to splash-heavy opponents who can clear skeletons before they deal damage.
