Overview
Pekka Bridge Spam is a dominant control archetype that combines devastating defensive power with aggressive bridge spam counterattacks. With an average elixir cost of 3.8, this deck excels at punishing opponents who overcommit on offense. P.E.K.K.A. serves as the ultimate defensive anchor, annihilating tanks and ground pushes, then transforming into a threatening counterpush threat. The bridge spam package—Bandit, Battle Ram, and Royal Ghost—applies relentless pressure, forcing opponents into difficult defensive decisions. Magic Archer provides piercing chip damage and synergizes perfectly with P.E.K.K.A. pushes. Electro Wizard offers versatile defensive utility with his spawn zap and continuous stun. This deck rewards reactive play and capitalizing on opponent mistakes with swift, punishing counterattacks.
Strategy
Opening Play
Start with Royal Ghost or Bandit at the bridge to apply early pressure and scout the opponent's deck. These low-commitment plays force responses while building information about their defensive cards. Alternatively, use Magic Archer in the back if you want to play passively and build elixir. Never open with P.E.K.K.A. or Battle Ram—save these for reactive plays or when you've identified weaknesses in their defense.
Single Elixir
Play reactively and defensively, using P.E.K.K.A. to shut down ground pushes completely. After successful defenses, build counterpushes by adding bridge spam units behind your surviving P.E.K.K.A. Apply split-lane pressure with Bandit or Royal Ghost in the opposite lane when P.E.K.K.A. is tanking on one side. Use Battle Ram to punish when opponents are low on elixir or when their building is out of cycle. Magic Archer should be positioned to get piercing value—line up shots through troops into the tower. Defend efficiently with Electro Wizard against air threats and charging units.
Double Elixir
Increase your aggression significantly with constant bridge spam pressure. Build massive P.E.K.K.A. pushes supported by Electro Wizard and Magic Archer. Apply dual-lane pressure relentlessly—if they defend P.E.K.K.A. on one side, immediately Battle Ram or Bandit the other lane. Use Poison aggressively to control areas and deny defensive swarms. Your bridge spam units cycle quickly, allowing you to overwhelm even solid defenses. Don't be afraid to stack pressure—P.E.K.K.A. with Bandit, Ghost, and Magic Archer behind creates near-unstoppable pushes that demand perfect defense.
Matchups
Favorable Matchups
- Golem Beatdown: P.E.K.K.A. destroys Golem while your bridge spam punishes opposite lane. They struggle to support Golem while defending Bandit and Battle Ram pressure. Rush the opposite lane immediately when they place Golem in back—force them to choose between defending and supporting.
- Giant Beatdown: Similar to Golem—P.E.K.K.A. handles Giant effortlessly. Use Electro Wizard and Magic Archer to eliminate support troops. Counterpush aggressively after defensive P.E.K.K.A. plays. Apply split-lane pressure to prevent them from building deathball pushes.
- Hog Cycle: P.E.K.K.A. and Electro Wizard shut down Hog Rider completely. Your superior counterpush potential overwhelms their light defenses. Apply constant bridge spam pressure and use Poison on their defensive buildings. They can't outcycle your answers.
Unfavorable Matchups
- X-Bow Cycle: X-Bow outranges your troops and their cheap cycle can defend your pushes efficiently. Use P.E.K.K.A. to tank X-Bow damage while Bandit dashes to destroy it. Apply opposite-lane pressure when they commit to X-Bow. Magic Archer can snipe X-Bow from safe distance if positioned correctly.
- Lava Hound: Your ground-focused deck struggles against air-heavy pushes. Rely on Electro Wizard and Magic Archer for air defense. Apply extremely aggressive opposite-lane pressure when they play Lava Hound—you must take a tower before their air push overwhelms you.
- Royal Giant: Royal Giant outranges P.E.K.K.A. and gets guaranteed damage. Use P.E.K.K.A. to minimize damage while applying opposite-lane pressure. Electro Wizard's stun helps reduce Royal Giant shots. Focus on overwhelming them with bridge spam before they chip you down.
Tips
P.E.K.K.A. placement: Always place P.E.K.K.A. reactively on defense, never proactively. Center placements pull troops to both towers' range, maximizing defensive value.
Bandit dash timing: Bandit's dash makes her invincible—use this to absorb damage from charging units, Sparky shots, or to cross the bridge untouched. Time her deployment to maximize dash value.
Battle Ram pressure: Battle Ram forces responses. Use it to punish when opponents are low on elixir, to tank for Bandit/Ghost, or to destroy buildings. The Barbarians that spawn continue applying pressure.
Magic Archer geometry: Position Magic Archer to pierce through troops into the tower. Even small chip damage adds up significantly over a match. Protect him behind P.E.K.K.A. for massive piercing value.
Electro Wizard utility: His spawn zap resets Inferno Tower/Dragon, Sparky, and charging units. Use him defensively against air threats and to support P.E.K.K.A. pushes by stunning defenders.
Split-lane pressure: When P.E.K.K.A. is crossing one lane, immediately pressure the other with Bandit or Royal Ghost. This forces impossible defensive decisions.
Poison control: Use Poison to deny swarm defenses, control areas where they want to defend, and chip tower damage. Poison on a Magic Archer lineup creates devastating value.
Royal Ghost scouting: Ghost's invisibility lets him reach dangerous positions. Use him to scout responses, apply pressure, and force early defensive commitments.
Common Mistakes
Offensive P.E.K.K.A. in back: Starting P.E.K.K.A. in back is predictable and gives opponents time to build counters. Always use P.E.K.K.A. defensively first, then counterpush.
Ignoring opposite lane: Focusing solely on P.E.K.K.A. pushes without split-lane pressure lets opponents defend efficiently. Always threaten both lanes to stretch their elixir.
Wasting Bandit dash: Deploying Bandit too close to targets wastes her dash. Place her at distance to maximize dash value and invincibility frames.
Poor Magic Archer positioning: Placing Magic Archer where he can't pierce through troops into tower wastes his unique ability. Always consider geometry for piercing shots.
Over-committing on offense: Building massive pushes without defensive elixir leads to devastating counter-pushes. Keep enough elixir for emergency P.E.K.K.A. or Electro Wizard placement.
Predictable Battle Ram timing: Always using Battle Ram at the same times becomes predictable. Vary your pressure timing to catch opponents off-guard.
